What is a biocellulose mask?
A biocellulose mask is a sheet mask made from a microfibre lattice grown from fermented coconut water. The fibres are about one hundred times finer than cotton, so the mask holds roughly one hundred times its weight in water and conforms closely to your facial contours for even, gap-free delivery.
How long should I leave the Reformer Face Mask on?
Twenty minutes is ideal. Less than ten minutes doesn't give the actives enough time to absorb, and beyond thirty minutes the mask can begin to dry and draw moisture back out of the skin.
Is the Reformer Face Mask vegan?
Yes. Biocellulose is grown by bacterial fermentation of plant sugars from coconut water, with no animal-derived ingredients. The Reformer Face Mask is fully vegan and not tested on animals.
Can I use it every day?
Yes — the biocellulose formula is gentle enough for daily use during dehydration, seasonal dryness, or recovery after a treatment. For everyday maintenance, two to three sessions a week is plenty.
Do I need to wash my face after using the mask?
No. After removing the mask, gently pat any remaining serum into the skin and follow with your eye cream and moisturiser. Washing it off would remove the actives the mask just delivered.
Why choose biocellulose over a regular cotton sheet mask?
Cotton sheet masks tend to dry out within 10 to 15 minutes and then pull moisture back out of the skin. Biocellulose stays saturated for the full 20-minute session and forms a closer seal, which is why it is used professionally after treatments like laser and chemical peels.
