THE WORKOUT FOR FACE HEALTH

FACE PILATES TREATMENT

The Face Pilates™ treatment was developed by Thomas Tullo as a holistic massage to support facial tissue health and functioning. By targeting all 43 facial muscles and addressing the face tissues directly, Face Pilates ensures that tissues are healthy and your cells have the right environment to thrive. Face Pilates is series of carefully curated and tool intensive massage techniques that promote lymphatic drainage, increased circulation, decreased muscle tension, and improved tissue functioning.

Face Pilates is an 8-step massage that incorporates facial stretches, massage, lymphatic drainage (using gua sha and cupping), contrast therapy (using LED and cryo-globes), reflexology, and EMS all delivered with high quality skin care as a medium.

THE WARMUP

YOGA BALL STRETCH

Face Pilates treatments start with a stretch to warm up your facial muscles and facia. This is the facial stretch therapy section of the Face Pilates treatment using a hand pilate ball. Your specially trained therapist will use a 1 lbs. yoga ball to carefully warm up your facial muscles by stretching them and breaking up facial adhesions

RELEAVING MUSCLE TENSION

FACE & BUCCAL MASSAGE

Face Pilates incorporated facial and buccal massage to relieve stress, break up scar tissue and facial adhesions, and increase circulation.

Your face has 43 muscles that are constantly working. They react and store to stress and environmental factors. Using carefully curated and performed face massage techniques, your therapist will work your face muscles, relieving tension, reducing knots, and supporting proper muscle functioning.

This part is especially beneficial is you suffer from TMJ or tension headaches.

PIN-POINT FOCUS

REFLEXOLOGY

Face Pilates applies pressure to specific points on the face with the goal promoting relaxation, reducing stress, improving circulation, and supporting the body's natural healing process.

Your trained therapist will use special facial reflexology tools to activate the tissues of your face, offering deep relaxation of muscles combined with stimulation of circulation and lymphatic drainage.

REMOVING WATER RETENTION

LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

Face Pilates helps you detoxify the tissues of your face and improve immune function by moving interstitial fluid to the many lymph nodes in your face.

Your therapist will use their hands, gua sha tools, and facial cupping tools to gently move fluid that has built up in your face tissues to lymph noted, and from this through your lymphatic system back into your blood for recirculation. This moves excess fluid, cellular waste products, and toxins from your face and allows your liver and kidneys to do their job.

WARM AND COLD

CONTRAST THERAPY

Face Pilates employs contrast therapy, using LED red and ice globes, to support tissue functioning, promote circulation, and decrease inflammation.

The LED red light therapy brings gentle heat to the tissues of your face, increasing blood flow and relaxing tissues. The increased blood flow helps bring more nutrients to the tissues, feeding them and providing the nutrients needed for repair and maintenance. The LED red light has also been shown to increase mitochondrial function, creating more energy for proper cellular heath and functioning.

REPLACING OIL AND GELS TO ADD VALUE

LUXURY SKIN CARE

Face Pilates is a massage that uses a variety of tools. Massages and tools require delivery mediums such as oil and conducting gels. To get the most out of each Face Pilates treatment, your practitioner will use high quality skin care and massage creams rather than oil, and uses out bio-cellulose face mask and other serums to conduct electricity and assist with tool glide.

The aim is to bathe your face in topicals that help support the massage by providing your face with the nutrients and actives so you get the most out of each treatment.
